Computer NOOB

Haiz.. I got my Mac but everything need to be update. So is a long way to go for my Mac to become an 'UPDATED' one. Moreover, I know nothing about laptop's software thing, and this is apple! Is totally a different thing compared to those i used. I am getting crazy coz of this Mac and now I really hope there will be a Mac technician sitting beside me helping me solve all my problem here. HELP!!!
